Newfoundland Club of America Top Twenty/Ten Event

• The Top 20 Newfoundlands in Conformation compete at the National Specialty where three judges pick the "judges choice" winner.
• The Top 10 Newfoundlands in Obedience compete at the National Specialty where one obedience dog competes for winner.
• Conformation is judged by three judges in the afternoon in a conformation ring after regular judging is over can be shown in the evening under lights and music.
• Each Top 20/10 dog is invited to this event based on Breed points points gained throughout the year.
• The judges select the winner of the Top Twenty by using a score sheet and methods of determining the judges choice winner. A People’s Choice Award is also selected.
• Avalon Bey has been honored with 3 Top 10 Obedience contenders.
• Avalon Bey has been honored with 2 Judges Choice Winners back -to-back years.
• Avalon Bey has been honored with 6 Top 20 Conformation contenders.

The Colonial Newfoundland Club asked Laura to Chair the Top 20/10 Event at the Lancaster, PA National Specialty 2014.  This was an incredible event and I appreciate all those involved to help make this a successful event.  The slideshow below has all the pictures from this event.  Enjoy!!
